YLG Community Service Initiatives

Organized by the Public Service Committee, these events offer Young Leaders the opportunity to undertake clean-up and beautification projects in partnership with local community organizations. Participating in such projects helps Young Leaders become connected with the important social and environmental issues Los Angeles contends with, and challenges them to understand these issues in the context of land use and real estate development. Recent community service projects include:

• Los Angeles River Clean-Up
• Tree Planting with the Los Angeles Conservation Corps
• Heal the Bay
