The Terranea Experience
As a part of this unique event, program attendees will have the opportunity to arrive early and participate in guided site tours in the afternoon followed by the main program panel discussion and evening cocktail reception. For those program registrants seeking to enjoy a full destination experience at Terranea Resort, award winning golf, relaxing spa treatments, pool side lounging, oceanfront dining and overnight accommodations will be available at preferred rates.
Background
Terranea, developed by Lowe Enterprises and operated through the firm’s wholly-owned hospitality management subsidiary Destination Hotels & Resorts, opened in the most challenging economic environment the hospitality industry has faced in decades. Hear from the Terranea development and management team how the project was conceived, entitled, marketed, financed, constructed, and developed during an unprecedented phase of expansion in the hospitality industry, and opened in an environment of significant economic challenges. Learn how the project has adapted and modified its marketing, financial and operating structure to respond to a radically changing market while retaining its core objective to provide a unique world class resort experience on one of the most beautiful stretches of California coastline. Program participants will hear directly from Lowe Enterprises’ senior management and the project’s development and management team of the many successes and challenges that punctuate the Terranea story.
