UrbanPlan

Philip Friedl teaches students skills to analyze their neighborhood.
UrbanPlan is a simulation classroom exercise for high school students created by the Urban Land Institute. Students work in development teams to analyze and respond to a hypothetical "Request for Proposal" for the redevelopment of a specific urban area. Development teams compete to secure the rights from a fictitious city council made up of UrbanPlan volunteers. During the annual awards ceremony, the winning team is announced and presented with scholarships towards their college education.
To get involved with UrbanPlan please contact UrbanPlan Chair - Michael Donovan III.
